Why is it Important?
SLT rights allow user accounts some extra capabilities such as entering data in historic months, access all year groups in attainment and progress, including the new reports and view school usage statistics. SLT users will still need to be assigned individual classes to load up the markbooks.
How to assign SLT rights
This is done in User Management.
You will need to click on the edit icon next for the relevant teacher.
By default, all users are created with 'Teacher' rights unless changed. A teacher can be granted SLT rights in section 2 under user type. Click on the dropdown and select SLT or Teacher as appropriate.
Once you have granted a user SLT rights, you will need to press the save button at the bottom of the page to confirm this.
