Once you have set up your targets, pupil's attainment against them can be viewed in either Pupil Tracking Tables and Group Tracking Tables.


Tracking Pupil Targets


1. With 'Pupil' and 'Table' selected, select the pupils and subjects included in the target you wish to view


2. Select the target from the dropdown on the right hand side of the choose area.



3. Press 'Generate Table'


A Pupil Table, will be generated as shown below. The start and the end of the target will be included in addition to any dates selected:

  • Start Target column shows the type of target (Points Per Year / End Target) as well as the starting point of the target.
  • End Target column shows the end point of the target.
  • Teacher Assessment (TA) or Summative Assessment (SA) between the target start and end date will be colour coded to show whether the pupil was on track (orange) below the target (red) or above target (green) on the date of assessment.
  • 'Target Level' column for each displayed date to show the level the pupil would need to attain on the selected date to be on track.
  • 'Gap to Target' to show how many points the pupil currently needs to make to achieve their end target. What the points mean will very from framework to framework.





Tracking Group Targets


The 'Group On Track' table summarises whether pupils are currently on track to meet a target.

1. With 'Group' and 'Table' selected, select the pupils and subjects included in the target you wish to view

2. Select the target from the dropdown on the right hand side of the choose area (as shown above).

3. Press 'Generate Table'

4. In the green control bar, unselect 'Group Attainment' and select 'Group 'On Track'



The table shows the number and percentage of the pupils included in the selected target along with the numbers and percentages that are currently Below Track, On Track or Above Track in the selected subject(s). NB This will show whether the pupil is currently on track regardless of dates selected. Clicking on a link will show the names of the pupils included in that number.


Switching to 'Graph' will show this data on a graph. One subject will be shown as a pie chart. More than one subject will be shown in a graph, with each subject being shown with a different colour bar.
