To view group tracking tables, the sliders on the left hand side of the page must be set to Group and Table. If you access the Group Tracking area via Attainment and Progress > Group Tracking from the homepage, then the sliders will be set to Group and Table by default.

The first step is to select the data that you want to view using the 'Choose Pupils/Subjects/Timeframe' button. When you press generate table, all of the tables are automatically generated in the background. You can choose which ones are shown on screen using the green control bar. It is possible to view more than one table type at a time if you wish.

Please note that when displaying any of the tables, it is possible to click on any underlined numbers to view the names of the children who have been included in the figure.

Group Attainment

This table shows the breakdown of attainment scores for the group. It shows average attainment of the group and the number and percentage of pupils working at each score for each subject.

If more than one date has been selected, attainment will always be shown for the most recent date selected. Where a pupil has both a summative assessment and a teacher assessment level on the selected date, the summative assessment will be used if one exists. Else, the teacher assessment will be used.

Group Progress

In order to show a group progress table, you will need to have more than one date selected. It shows average progress for the group and the number and percentage of pupils who have made each band of progress in each subject in the timeframe selected. Progress is measured in points and the value and meaning of these points will vary depending upon the framework that you are choosing.

If more than two dates have been selected, progress will always be measured from the earliest to the most recent date selected. Where a pupil has both a summative assessment and a teacher assessment level on the selected dates, the summative assessment will be used if one exists. Else, the teacher assessment will be used.

Group 'On Track'

In order to show a Group on Track table, you will need to have selected a target in the middle panel. The table shows the number and percentage of the pupils included in the selected target along with Below Track, On Track or Above Track in the selected subject(s).

Visit our Attainment Targets help page for more information about targets.

Group Attendance

If attendance is stored in your MIS, it will sync with Classroom Monitor. You can then select this table to display the spread of attendance of the selected group. This will be arranged into attendance brackets of 2.5% The average attendance is also displayed.

Group Characteristics

Group Characteristics gives you a set of tables which use the fields from your MIS to show a breakdown of characteristics in the group that you have selected. As this data is taken directly from your MIS, the fields will reflect the ones that you have which may not match those that you can see in the image below.
